FreezeFrames are designed for men and women.
How long do the gel pads last?
You can expect your Reusable gel pads to last one year with normal use.
Will the gel pad content hurt me if it spills into my eyes?
The gel pad content is non-toxic but may irritate sensitive tissues. If the content of the gel pad gets into your eyes, rinse with warm water for 10 to 15 minutes. Seek medical attention if discomfort continues. Discard any gel pads that are ripped, cracked or torn.
Are the gel pads and or glasses made with latex?
All of the materials used to make FreezeFrames are latex free.
Can FreezeFrames cure headaches and or migraines?
No FreezeFrames cannot cure a headache but ice is the oldest and most common treatment used to help soothe headaches and migraines.
How do you FreezeFrames decrease puffy or baggy eyes?
Cold therapy works to decrease baggy and puffy eyes through vasoconstriction of the vessels of inflamed tissue.
How do FreezeFrames make me look better?
Cold therapy stimulates blood flow which helps to make skin look awakened and refreshed. Cold therapy also works to decrease inflammation.
How long can I keep the cold pads on my skin?
Cold therapy should be limited to 20 minutes at a time. You can repeat cold therapy as many times as you wish throughout the day as long as you take breaks between 20 minutes sessions.
How long do the gel pads remain cold?
The reusable gel pads are designed to remain cool for up to 20 minutes.
Are there age limits to use FreezeFrames?
FreezeFrames are recommended for use from the age of eight years old and up. Do not use FreezeFrames on a person who cannot communicate discomfort.
Do FreezeFrames offer protection from the sun?
Yes, FreezeFrames have 100% UVA and UVB sunblock protection.
Can I drive while wearing FreezeFrames?
You can wear FreezeFrames anytime as long as you have no visual field limitations related to gel pad placement. We do not recommend driving a vehicle or operating machinery when the gel pads are in place on your FreezeFrames.
Do doctors recommend and/or use FreezeFrames?
Yes, doctors do recommend and use FreezeFrames for many situations. Doctors will use FreezeFrames before and after Botox injections, after plastic surgery around the eye, after laser treatments around the eye, and as a way to decrease puffiness related to allergen exposures.
How many gel pads can I wear on my FreezeFrames at once time?
FreezeFrames have 7 gel pad attachment sites. You can wear up to six gel pads at one time.
What are the 7 gel pad attachment sites?
There are 2 upper eyelid attachment sites, 2 lower eye attachment sites, right and left temple attachment sites, and the nose-bridge, or Uni-brow attachment site.
How cold do the gel pads get?
The gel pads become effectively cool but do not become as cold and hard as an ice cube.
How long do I need to keep the gel pads in the freezer?
You can choose how cold you would like the gel pads to become. We recommend 30 to 60 minutes before use.
Can I heat the gel pads?
The gel pads contain a metal alloy and therefore should not be placed in the microwave nor any alternative heat source.
How do the gel pads stay on the frame of FreezeFrames?
FreezeFrames uses magnetic technology to secure the gel pads onto the frames for easy and convenient placement.
Can the magnets used in FreezeFrames harm me?
There is no evidence to suggest that the mild magnets used in FreezeFrames can harm you. If this is an area of concern, please consult your doctor before use.
